What former clients are saying....
"With care and candor, Doug ably helps to navigate his clients through a process of self-discovery and a focusing and developing of one's mission and vision for life and service in God's Kingdom. The coaching process and Doug's presence are truly exemplary, beneficial, and life altering."
-Jason Postma, Graduate Student (May 2008)
"Thanks, Doug, for helping me revisit my life experiences in order to better understand and articulate who I am as God created me. The Biblical Life Coaching exercise has helped me to be thankful and rejoice in God's creation of the unique me. I am now better equipped to make life choices that will result in more productivity because I better know myself."
- Rev. Bill Terris, Lead Minister, Blenheim Baptist Church (October 2007)
"The Duart Presbyterian Church (DPC) had Rev. Doug Rowley coach our leadership team as to refocusing our direction in the future. I personally appreciated the guidance and leadership that Doug offered through out the meetings. The task was to revisit our vision, identify the core values, and set forth a direction and strategy for the future. All of this was built on the foundation of biblical principles. I was greatly impressed with his methodology and manner by which he shared information and gathered information from the group. It was amazing to witness how Doug drew forth information from the participants. No one was left out. Even those who were initially remaining quiet became active participants and made meaningful contributions.
DPC felt blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Doug to set forth the significant conclusions. After a time to reflect on the experience we will probably be seeking more of his coaching skills."
-Jim Morris, Member of Session, Duart Presbyterian Church (June 2008)
Why hire Doug as a Transitional Life Coach?
Everyone contemplates transition. Career change, relocation, marital separation, retirement, and changing churches are just a few of the transitions people consider. A Transitional Life Coach assists people in identifying the areas where transition is necessary and helps them through those changes.
Some transitions are unwelcome. We all know of someone who has lost their job, been diagnosed with an illness, or been abandoned by their spouse. A Transitional Life Coach helps navigate people through these storms.
Doug Rowley is a Transitional Life Coach. He understands the need and process for change. His life journey has included transitions from technical drafting, leadership, entrepreneurship, to the present where he is the Managing Director of EMERGE Ministries Canada, Inc. (a Christian Counseling Service), Chaplain at the University of Guelph (Ridgetown Campus), Vice-President of Compass Coaching International™, President of Wayfarer Life Coaching, and lead pastor of Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Ridgetown, ON. Doug has a Bachelor of Theology and extensive training in human resource management. He has taught in colleges, pastored small and large churches for over 24 years, and speaks in a broad spectrum of churches and conferences.
Doug is a certified Biblical Life Coach and Master Coach Trainer with Compass Coaching International™. His ability to listen and comfortably converse with anyone has been the key to his success. Doug’s goal for every client is to meet them at a crossroads in their life and help them take a path that will bring lasting purpose, contentment, and personal fulfillment.
He and his wife Suzanne have two children, two dogs, and a very large cat. His hobbies include landscaping, woodworking, and fishing. Doug still plays goal-keeper on the ice, and is known locally as the Holy Goalie.
Please contact Doug and discuss how he can help you find renewed direction for your life.
